By using Ponder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Ponder is a reading catalogue that indexes third-party essays and lets users track and rate what they read. We do not host the essays themselves — we link to them at their original sources. All essay content remains the property of its original authors and publishers.

Your account

You must sign in with a Google account to use account features. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may not create accounts for others or use the service to impersonate another person.

User content

Reviews, ratings, notes, and lists you create remain yours. By submitting them, you grant Ponder a non-exclusive licence to display them as part of the service. You may not submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or otherwise unlawful.

Premium membership

Premium features are available for $0.99/month, billed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

Acceptable use

You may not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service. You may not use automated means to create accounts or submit content.

Availability

We aim for high availability but make no guarantees. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
