"A contractor behind America’s most expensive transit project per capita has dumped lead-laced soil next to playgrounds and pickleball courts. The toxic dirt is being stockpiled in the middle of some of the city's poorest, densest neighborhoods. Wipe sampling conducted by Hunterbrook shows contaminated dust from these soil piles may have drifted to nearby residential areas."
